Silversides are one of the favorite foods of trout, skilled predators that follow these small fish. Baits has created an excellent imitation that involves shape, texture, color and size. The PejeBaits was created and tested, see the results of this fantastic and realistic lure.
The Baits Team had created a lure that mimics this elusive fish, but it needed to be tested to determine its efficiency and effectiveness, swimming performance, and presentation. So, we headed to the Ñuble River in the Nahueltoro https://www.rcpatelpolytechnic.org/ Bridge area. See our results in the following video.
- We observed that the lure moves naturally but only if used with the http://cel.cus.ac.in/ JigBaits No. 1 hook for the 8 cm lure and with Hook No. 4 for the 5.5 cm PejeBaits.
- The lure should be cast and retrieved with small jerks, to simulate an erratic and spontaneous swim.
- Use thin monofilaments, as this will allow for good swimming and long-distance casting.
- Use a small swivel to avoid distracting the trout's attention.
- When it bites you should skewer it immediately
